Riled by rats? That is a common response to their damaging presence on ones property. Wild rats are frequently responsible for destroying grounds, food supplies, and spreading disease.

Wild rats dig and live in underground burrows. Burrows can be simply a chamber connected to the outside by a short tunnel, or can be a large complex of interconnecting tunnels, passages, and cavities. A rat requires food for bait, with a couple of its favorite bait foods being peanut butter and Cheez-Whiz.

Turning Knob; set Spring to safe position. Set Safety Collar to block Trigger until unit is placed safely in ground. Place MOLECAT device inside provided Scent-Free Bag. [The Scent-Free Bag is used to prevent any danger scent of cartridge powder / human scent that a pest will detect as danger when inserted into hole]. Stir the Trigger end of MOLECAT in the loose dirt to further help remove scent that may be on the SFBag. Insert device and SFBag into active exit hole, securely, using included stainless steel anchor. Safety Collar releases first, then lastly, release the Hammer Safety by Knob reverse rotation.

After the unit has fired –

Reset Collar re-appears after firing, SFBag is shreadded and Cartridge is a emptied case. Most of the time you will not see the dead vermin because the intense percussive blast naturally pushes it back into the tunnel system. Leave it in the run to repel others from moving in!
